#1 EVENING ACTIVITY IN NARA CITY
According to TripAdvisor travelers community
Beer, Sake, Food & Friends in Nara City
Everyone likes a fresh beer and/or a glass of authentic sake. Nara is very famous for its deer, temples, shrines, and nature. But there is another facet of the city that should be more popular. Nara is also very well-known and famous across Japan for its delicious craft beer and its traditional sake.
In this walking tour, we will start by taking you to the main shopping street to attend a mochi-pounding performance and have a mochi freshly made to get the best quality ever. Then, have a taste of the authentic sushis from Nara called "Kaki no Ha Zushi" (A special sushi, rolled in a persimmon fruit leaf). The real fun starts with the Harushika Sake Distillery, where you will enjoy a delicious tasting session. Next, the Naramachi microbrewery and a drink is included. We then walk to some local restaurants with different styles, where you have some food included. Is there a better way to start the evening? You tell us!
