#1 NIGHT ACTIVITY IN NARA CITY
According to TripAdvisor travelers community
Beer, Sake, Food & Friends, what else?
Everyone likes a fresh beer and/or a glass of authentic sake. Nara is very famous for its deers, temples, shrines, and nature. But there is another facet of the city that should be more popular. Nara is also very well known and famous across Japan for its delicious craft beer and its traditional sake.
In this walking tour, we will start by taking you to the main shopping street to attend a mochi pounding performance and have a mochi freshly made to get the best quality ever. Then, have a taste of the authentic sushis from Nara called "Kaki no Ha Zushi" (A special sushi rolled in a persimmon fruit leaf). The real fun starts with a Sake distillery where you will learn a lot about sake, its history, and its manufacturing, all with a delicious tasting session. Then, the next stop with a local craft beer microbrewery and a couple of drinks with snacks included. We will then finish with a local Izakaya/Bar, where the owner will welcome us with a drink and food for everyone. Is there a better way to start the evening? You tell us!
